About Me
Samuel David Naranjo is a Colombian music producer, composer and arranger.
When he was very young, he was introduced to music through playing piano, first at home and then at church. Samuel David graduated from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia with a degree in music. In South America, he worked with various artists such as Carola Lopez [Peru, 1997] and Felipe Silva [Colombia, 1999]. In 1999, Samuel David moved to Miami, Florida and continued his studies with the composer Jason Hainsworth. He then worked with the Cuban singer Maria Esther Del Sol.
Samuel David has composed and edited the music for the short film Interview Me (2010)--which won Best Short Film, Best Director, and Best Actress at the Miami Life Awards. He also composed and edited the music for the film Dinner is Served (2012)--which was nominated for Best Director at the Miami Life Awards.
Since 2016, Samuel has been actively working on a new projects, especially with Chilean singer Carolina Medina.
Also he has been working with Colombians artis Ziem, Criss Jaramillo
and started a project with the Venezuelan singer Vaiah releasing in
2021 the song “Hasta Abajo” arranged, mixed and produced by Samuel
David. In 2022 Vaiah release "No Quiero que me Ames" NQQMA Composed, Arranged and Mixing By Samuel David Naranjo. He is working on coming songs with Vaiah.
